Terms, Conditions & Privacy Policy

These are Terms, Conditions and Privacy policies that govern the commitment by Perfecting Educational Output (PEO) towards all stakeholders as well as the stakeholder relations with the company. The company may amend this policy or add new Terms and Conditions at any time, at our sole discretion. If so, we will publish an updated version on our website.

The programs offered by PEO are grouped into two, being Academic Support and Extra Mural Activities

Parents / guardian participation is encouraged. This will offer parent-child bonding but also ensure that unnecessary injuries are avoided, where applicable. PEO cannot be held liable, in any way, for child performance in their official academic learning with their respective schools nor for any injury or damage to property as a result of the extra mural activities they partake in.

The program and activities are schedule as outlined under “The Calendar”, which is accessible on the PEO Website.

The Academic sessions would have recordings, for later access and revision purpose. The Extra Mural sessions however, would be available as scheduled with some having no recorded sessions afterwards. The main reason we may not to provide recording is to ensure that the candidates take the sessions serious, but also to make sure they partake under real-time guidance of the facilitator. The extra mural activities are educational and entertaining as well, usually such provide more enjoyment when done on the day.

Please note that PEO may refuse an applicant from participating in the programme for any reason at our sole discretion including (but not limited to) risk of reputational damage to us, any reasonable suspicion of previous criminal activity including shoplifting or any previous history of verbal or physical, racial, gender-based abuse to PEO partners, staff and fellow customers. This restriction can be broadened at sole discretion of PEO, whilst mindful of and being sensitive to the laws of the republic at any point in time.

By signing up and participating on our Program, the parties agree to the Terms and Conditions.

PEO offers the following services:

  1. PEO Academic Support

PEO Academic Support looks at subjects offered under the curriculum of Basic Education as determined under the Department of Basic Education.

It is important to indicate that PEO is at this stage NOT registered with South African Comprehensive Assessment Institute (SACAI), Independent Examinations Board (IEB)  or Department of Basic Education (DBE). It uses material recommended and recognised by relevant bodies within the basic education space, but its assessment can not be used as part of the official academic material. The service rendered is that of support, for children who may be falling behind in their formal schooling environment and need extra support.

It is however in PEO’s medium to long-term plans to become a fully registered on-line school, recognised by applicable regulatory bodies.

  • About PEO Academic Support Activities

The subjects offered by PEO are selected in line with the demand experienced. The scope of subjects offered will be under constant review with the aim of being as accommodating as possible to the needs of our clients.

By not being a registered academic institution, does not mean PEO offers sub-standard service. Our aim is uphold who we are “perfecting educational output”.

The program commences with a limited number of subjects, but in due course will expand its offering, informed by the academic landscape of the Republic of South Africa

  5. The application is accompanied by a non-refundable 00 application and administration fee. The admin fee is discounted by 50% for the additional child, if more than 1 child are registered and accounted for by same parent / guardian
  6. There is a R450.00 monthly fee per subject per candidate, with two (2) class-sessions per week. The fee is payable by no later than the last working day of the preceding month (i.e. The Fees for March are payable by no later than the 28th February).

The communication should reach PEO by no later than 12h00 of the day.

  • The programs run from the beginning of academic period to the end, in line with the basic education calendar
  • The programs run five days of the week except for a Sunday and public holidays

  2. PEO Extra Mural Activities

Under Extra Mural Activities, PEO looks at non-academic learning opportunities. Through the PEO platform participants would be exposed to practical day-today activities that may be complementary to their overall academic studies, but more importantly expose them to practical problem-solving activities

Extra Mural Activities in their nature do not always come with any kind of assessment, however PEO has ensured that there is a lot of practical activities and very little theory. For that reason, the company does not guarantee any specific quality of service by the services provider. The candidates are encouraged to expand their knowledge on activities they have been exposed to from the platform, by practicing on their own or doing further research.

A variety of programs are offered through this platform. The parents / guardian / participating candidate should elect, at own discretion, whichever programs they are be interested in. A candidate can select a maximum of four (4) programs per month.

It is the duty of the candidate / parent to ensure that the selected programs do not conflict in terms of time schedules. Please familiarize yourself with calendar

  • About PEO Extra Mural Activities

These activities offered by PEO are selected at the sole discretion of the company, however parents are encouraged to make suggestions on any other activities they would like to accesses. A thorough study will be conducted on each submission and careful consideration be given to it.

PEO will still have the sole discretion to implement any of the recommendations.

Most of the activities selected focus on the day-to-day activities we all come across in our daily lives, however the might be some which are outside our norm. Some such activities may require parents to invest in additional resources and this would be done at additional cost, outside the monthly fees.

Parents should be careful and practical when assisting their children to select activities they would like to participate in. They should take into account the environment under which their children will be when participating i.e. My Little green Fingers – Gardening training may need a piece of land or an area where a portable garden would have to be erected, a Soccer coaching and dance may involve some movements i.e. kicking the ball around, so the parents should be mindful when selecting the activities

Children still have to be children. This program should not feel like another school sessions. PEO aims to make it enjoyable to the point that candidates do not want to miss out, but should they do, they should not be hard on themselves.

Sessions missed will unfortunately not be refundable.
