Description
Parental Coaching Activities: PEO recognizes that part of the weaknesses in the current education system is lack of parents participation.
Parental participation is crucial in the education of children especially whilst still in the early stages (basic education). Given many other demands, including timing, parents are usually unable to be part of the child’s education. It is therefore PEO’s prerogative to be that platform where parent participation is made possible by being flexible enough to accommodate them. Sessions are available as follows:
  • Group Sessions: Sessions are available Four (4) times every week and need to be booked in advance

  • Individual Sessions should be requested and scheduled in line with the availability of the facilitators
  1. Group Parents Sessions : Held once monthly
  2. Individual Parents Sessions: Held on request by parents to have an in-depth coaching on how to support their children. This will take into account the uniqueness of each child.

Time Table: Both Group and Individual Sessions are allocated One (1) hour at a time (see schedule).
Group Size: Each Group session consists of maximum of 10 participants per session (Participants are based on children, meaning up to 20 parents per session). Individual sessions are up to 2 parents (One child family per session)
Cost: Group Sessions : No cost – One Session per child (parents) per annual Cycle
Individual Sessions: Eight Hundred and Seventy Five Rand (R875.00) per session
